Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide a biochemical understanding of endocrine systems, mechanisms of hormone synthesis and secretion, hormone actions on target organs, receptor interactions, and the biochemical diagnosis of endocrine disorders

Course Content

The course covers endocrine glands and hormones, signal transduction pathways, hormone biosynthesis, carrier proteins, feedback mechanisms, and laboratory tests used in endocrine diseases.
