Course Goal / Objective

To provide students with information about the structure, use, security and management of electronic health records.

Course Content

Definition, structure, standards (HL7, ICD, SNOMED) of electronic health records, digitization of patient data, security protocols, legal regulations, data integration, examples of use in clinical applications.
