Course Goal / Objective

Investigating the molecular mechanisms of regeneration in simple and complex organisms, the mechanisms involved in tissue repair and regeneration in different organ and tissue types, and the role of stem cells and tissue progenitors as endogenous repair support systems in disease and health. Understanding the relationship between aging and regeneration.

Course Content

Investigation of endogenous promoters and molecular mechanisms of regeneration in different organism organizations and different tissue types.
