Course Goal / Objective
To provide knowledge about the concept of welfare in poultry and the improvement practices implemented in this regard
Course Content
Defining welfare for poultry, its importance, and the conditions influencing the development of the concept of welfare worldwide, welfare standards, the relationship between animal welfare and productivity, the impact of the environment on animal welfare, breeding systems and welfare, practices to improve welfare in poultry, the consumer's perspective on animal welfare, and animal welfare and product quality
