Course Goal / Objective

The aim is to explain the importance of statistical quality control in agricultural practices and to teach how statistical quality management systems operate in agricultural enterprises.

Course Content

Quality, its history and importance in agriculture, data types and sampling methods, descriptive statistics and distributions, statistical quality control methods, control charts, process capability analysis, acceptance sampling, quality standards and certification in agriculture.
