Course Goal / Objective
To convey fundamental statistical principles. To introduce data collection and evaluation methods. To provide current examples related to statistical application areas.
Course Content
The applications of statistics, basic statistical principles, what type of study is done with which type of data, data sources, methods of data collection and presentation, sampling, reading graphs and tables, measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, relationship analysis, correlation, and regression concepts.
