Course Goal / Objective
Students will understand and analyze information regarding classical, neoclassical, and modern organizational theories, the study of organizations as social systems, the processes of determining organizational goals and strategy, organizational structure and design, and organizational communication. Another objective is to provide knowledge about the historical management structures of Turkish sports organizations, the structure of contemporary sports management, and the application of total quality management approaches in sports.
Course Content
The course will cover fundamental concepts in organizational structure and design, the development of organizational theory, organizational structure and environment, management sciences and sports management, pre- and post-republican sports organizations, and current sports federations.
