Course Goal / Objective
To equip students with the skills to develop dynamic, database-connected, and user-interactive web applications using web technologies.
Course Content
The Web-Based Applications course begins with the client-server architecture and HTTP protocol, which form the basis of web technologies, and covers the creation of static web pages with HTML and CSS, user interaction with JavaScript, and the development of dynamic structures. The course includes interface design using Bootstrap, server-side application development with PHP or Node.js, data management with MySQL databases, form processing, and CRUD applications. Basic web security topics and the process of publishing developed applications are also covered.
