Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the fundamental methods for resolving disputes in the field of Administrative Law through alternative mechanisms other than judicial proceedings and to equip students with the ability to develop evaluations regarding dispute resolution through these methods.
Course Content
Within the scope of the course, the conceptual framework and historical development of alternative dispute resolution methods, their applicability in administrative law, administrative applications, the Ombudsman Institution, settlement under Decree Law No. 659, applications to the Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye, arbitration in concession contracts, mediation in full remedy actions, compensation commissions, and the relationship between these mechanisms and the right of access to court are examined.
