Course Goal / Objective
“It is aimed to provide the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies related to the fundamental principles of first aid; basic life support; first aid in shock, injuries, fractures, dislocations, and sprains; poisoning and other emergencies; as well as patient transport. It also aims to enable the application of primary and secondary assessment techniques and to develop competencies in emergency care practices in medical emergencies.”
Course Content
What is first aid. Human anatomy and systems, first aid for respiratory system, cardiovascular system, bleeding, shock, injuries, coma, bone fractures, burns, frostbite, electric shock and poisoning.
