Course Goal / Objective

To explain the role of complementary therapies in nursing care, the principles of evidence-based use, safety limits, ethical and legal aspects, and their importance in patient education.

Course Content

The definition and classification of complementary therapies, evidence-based practice principles, safe use in nursing care, aromatherapy, music therapy, massage, reflexology, relaxation exercises, breathing exercises, mindfulness, yoga, acupressure, hot and cold applications, ethical and legal responsibilities, and patient counseling.
