Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of mechanical technician profession, manufacturing systems, production processes, basic machine elements, and industrial technical approaches. It also aims to develop vocational awareness and technical thinking skills.

Course Content

Introduction to mechanical technology, basic technical drawing concepts, measurement and inspection, manufacturing methods, materials science, machine elements, production systems, introduction to CNC and automation systems, occupational safety and quality concepts.
