Course Goal / Objective
The objectives of this course are to provide students with an understanding of the current dimensions of AI-driven transformation in the media sector; to familiarize them with AI-mediated media practices, AI platforms, and their features; to ensure they master methodologies related to AI and media; and to evaluate the structural impacts of AI on the media sector.
Course Content
This involves assessing the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on the media sector, evaluating their outcomes, identifying the benefits of related developments in news production, consumption, and distribution processes, and understanding the positive and negative consequences resulting from these developments.
