Course Goal / Objective

To recognize iron-based, non-ferrous, and non-metallic materials used in the industrial field and understand their properties. To recognize the production methods of materials. To be able to select the appropriate material for the working environment.

Course Content

Includes recognizing steels, cast irons, non-ferrous materials, and non-metallic materials; gaining knowledge about their properties; material selection according to the working environment, and their manufacturing processes.
