Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach basic mathematical and geometric concepts used in mechanical and technical programs and to improve students’ skills in technical drawing, measurement, calculation, and problem solving. It particularly focuses on geometric calculations used in engineering and manufacturing fields.
Course Content
Basic geometry concepts, plane and solid geometry, angle calculations, triangles and quadrilaterals, area and perimeter calculations, circle geometry, volume calculations, coordinate systems, geometric calculations in technical drawing, basic trigonometry applications, and engineering problems.
