Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of the effects of probiotics on human health, their mechanisms of action, clinical applications, and scientific basis.

Course Content

This course covers the definition of probiotics, their mechanisms of action, their relationship with the human microbiota, their effects on human health, clinical applications, and recent scientific advances.
