General Information
Philosophy Group Education Department is a synthesis of Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology and Logic disciplines and receives support from Educational Sciences. That is, it has a multidisciplinary structure. The staff of the department consists of three Professors, one Associate Professor, one Assit. Professor, one Lecturer and one Doctor Research Assistant. Research topics of faculty members working in the department; social science education including philosophy, logic, psychology, sociology and politics; implicit programming, cultural and historical thinking, human rights and critical thinking, and the media, aid services, educational structures, multiculturalism and socio-cultural change.

Feature & Definition
The Philosophy Group Education Program consists of the combination of four sub-disciplines. Under the philosophy group are sociology, psychology, logic and philosophy. During the academic education, the basic discussions of these disciplines on the one hand and their integration with secondary education on the other hand are taken into consideration. Therefore, it is necessary to add educational sciences to these fields.

Goals
The main purpose of the department is to train philosophy group teachers at the expert level (M.C.) for secondary education institutions. It also contributes to the training of academicians in the fields of related spiritual sciences.
Objectives
It is tried to ensure that our students reach a level that will contribute to this development by following the philosophical, social and cultural developments in our country and in the world. Some of our goals are to meet the academic needs of our country, equipped in the field of philosophy and able to solve social and individual problems.
Specific Admission Requirements
To complete the general admission requirements within the specified quotas for Turkish and foreign students. It is necessary to get enough points from the written exam and the oral interview.

The student who successfully completes the program will have a Master's degree in Philosophy Group Education.
Access to Further Studies
Those who have completed the program can apply to the Doctorate Program if they have ALES and language score proficiency. Again, they must complete the general admission requirements within the quota. In addition, sufficient points must be obtained from the written exam and oral interview.
