Goals
To bring up experts who have the knowledge of scholarly ethical standards and are able read and comprehend the principal sources in their fields, produce sound and appropriate knowledge out of them and convey them in a systematic way to those who are concerned.
Objectives
To equip the students with the ability of reading and understanding the principal Islamic sources, of assessing the resources found in them in a sound and healthy way, of formulating both verbally and in written form the outcomes in a systematic way and of using them for the contemporary nneds.
Specific Admission Requirements
Students, willing to enrol in this graduate programme, must comply with the legal and academic requirements to access the studies in The Sakarya University according to the process established by the YÖK (Higher Education Council) regulations. The detail information about the application (once or sometimes twice a year) and access requirements are released before academic year starts on its web site (www.sbe.sakarya.edu.tr). Students who have started studies in other universities within or outside of the country may apply for their recognition. The recognition record is unique for each student and therefore the procedure is carried out accordingly before the start of each academic year.
Qualification Awarded
You will be awarded, on successful completion of the programme and gain competencies, a degree of Master in Theology - Basic Islamic Sciences.
