Goals
The aim of this interdisciplinary program is; to teach occupational health and safety at workplaces, legal regulations, hazard identification to workplaces, risk assessment and risk control measures, and thus to teach strategies to prevent occupational accidents at workplaces.
Objectives
Students with interdisciplinary student resources in this program; The aim of this course is to teach the students about occupational health and safety in terms of legislation, workplace hazard sources and risk assessment methods, and to gain the ability to evaluate risk in dangerous, very dangerous and less dangerous workplaces.
Specific Admission Requirements
Students from this program. Within the framework of the Regulations of Graduate Education of Çukurova University, ALES can continue education in graduate programs in its own field or related fields as a result of the evaluation of undergraduate graduation average, written and interview exam.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete all the courses in the graduate education plan and defend their theses on occupational safety will receive master's degree in Occupational Safety.

Students who successfully complete the MSc degree in this program can study in their respective fields or in related fields of doctorate programs, provided that they obtain valid grades from ALES and have sufficient knowledge of English.

Work Placement
n this program, students choose courses according to their field of study and give at least one seminar during the course term and present a thesis program for a thesis supervisor. During the conduct of the thesis, the data are obtained either directly from the workplaces or in laboratory experiments. They defend their thesis against at least three jury members who are experts in their field. When they are successful in the thesis, they graduate.

Employment Opportunities
The Regulation on the Duties, Authorities, Responsibilities and Training of Occupational Safety Experts as specified in Article 8 / b-2; The graduates of the faculty who have received a graduate education in the occupational health and safety or occupational safety program or who have engineering or architectural education and technical staff (who have the title of technical teachers, physicist, chemist or biologist) can take the occupational safety expertise exam of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (B). have a B class occupational safety certificate if they are successful. With this document, they will be able to work as occupational safety experts in dangerous and less dangerous work places. It is also possible to provide those who do not graduate from the above-mentioned faculties and programs but who want to be informed in the field of occupational safety and who want to increase in academic sense. Graduates can work as occupational safety specialists at various workplaces or have an academic career when they receive a B class occupational safety certificate.
