The department of Business Administration trains students to transfer knowledge, help individuals develop the competencies, and improve the awareness needed to (a) analyze and interpret the fundamental issues of business management through using related conceptual models , numerical and statistical techniques, (b) perform well individually and as a member of a team, (c) communicate efficiently, and (d) recognize the ethical values and social responsibilities.

Goals

Department of Business Administration is committed to following the developments in the field of business administration. Knowledge and experiences gained by this commitment are reflected in undergraduate and graduate programs, which offer an update and high quality education to students. Besides, short term training programs intended to serve business purposes contribute to their continuous development. The ultimate aim is to equip the students with the necessary knowledge and skills, communication competence, and raise them as interrogative and enlightened individuals possessing entrepreneurial and leadership skills who can defend their ideas, and speak at least one foreign language.

Objectives

The main objectives of our program are to meet the needs of our country in this section and become the most preferred program among other programs. The objective of the program is to educate new members of profession who are equipped with the necessary scientific and social skills, spiritually and physically educated, who can follow upper level educations, who have the skill of critical thinking and leadership, who can provide collaboration among disciplines, who are innovative and who can provide practical solutions for problems.

Specific Admission Requirements

Placement through a centralized national university placement examination (ÖSYS). Student Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) is responsible to place students according to their ÖSYS scores.

Qualification Awarded

Students who successfully complete this program are given the title of "işletmeci" (the bachelor's degree of management)

In order to graduate from this program, it is necessary to meet the valid conditions in the "Ç.Ü. Ön Lisans ve Lisans Eğitim Öğretim ve Sınav Yönetmeliği"

Access to Further Studies

The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to graduate studies in same field or related areas if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the regulations of "Çukurova University Graduate Education and Examination Committee", which includes ALES, general point of average, and the interview.

Internship

There is no compulsory internship.
