General Information
Computer programming program started in the 1990-1991 academic year within the scope of the technical programs department, in the secondary education in 2000-2001 and in the distance education program in 2004-2005. The department of computer programming is a department that aims to train students who have the knowledge and skills in the software and hardware fields needed by the informatics industry. In the hardware field, it educates students who can recognize and use the hardware related to basic information technologies and have the competence to solve problems. It educates students who manage basic computing devices in the software field, have web-based, database and basic programming skills. It is a department that aims to meet the need for intermediate staff, which is very necessary for information technology.

Goals
Aim of the program is; Being able to closely follow the requirements of the era, knowing the computers and hardware and systems used in offices and businesses, knowing their features, being able to maintain and repair, using their professional knowledge in hardware and software areas, recognizing and programming programmable devices, developing software in areas such as database and web software, It is aimed to train assimilated technical staff.
Objectives
It is aimed to be a privileged program that trains qualified intermediate staff with high knowledge and skills, who can apply the requirements of the profession at the highest level.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation
Students who have passed the hardware and software courses in 2 years (four years), succeeded in applications and completed their internship, have the degree of graduation from this associate degree program.
Access to Further Studies
Graduates of the Computer Programming Program graduate can transfer to Graduate Programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by OSYM.
Internship
Internship is provided within 30 working days by developing knowledge skills in hardware and software areas in public institutions and private sector, and by gaining working discipline and culture. The internship book with this content is examined and accepted if it is sufficient.
Applied Course
Practical courses are given in laboratories, both software and hardware.
Work Placement
It is done with internship.
