Goals

It aims to develop knowledge and skills of graduates to prevent occupational diseases and accidents in all work conditions, to reduce or eliminate risks by assessing, to conduct of the occupational health and safety studies and make the legislative arrangements, ensure to harmonization between workers and the workplace in all workplace.

Objectives

In all workplace; 1-Carrying out the work in accordance with the basic ohs rules, 2-Creation of an ohs structure, specific to the workplace, 3-Implemention of regulations in accordance with national and international legislation, 4-Arrangements, focused by workers and ergonomic, 5-Prevention of occupational accidents and diseases, 6-Determinate and prevent the sources of hazards and risks, aimed.

Specific Admission Requirements

Measuring, Selection and Placement Center of Turkey (OSYM) is placed in the examination with enough points for the program.

The program graduates find employment in all public and private institutions related to job security with the title "Occupational Health and Safety Technician". In addition, if they are successful in the examination organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, they can get the title "Health and Safety Specialist".
