Goals
The aim of the Banking Program is to train qualified intermediate staff needed by the banking and finance sector. For this purpose, by using modern education and training techniques, care is taken to provide the necessary technical knowledge as well as the human communication skills, which are indispensable for service sector employees. Relevant specialization courses are given intensively. In addition to the aim of increasing the knowledge level of the student who graduates from the program, it is aimed to improve the ability to convey information accurately and in accordance with the purpose, and to develop problem-solving skills.
Objectives
Students graduating from the program receive an "Associate Degree in Banking and Insurance". Students who graduated from the Banking and Insurance program, Actuarial, Banking, Banking and Finance, Banking and Finance, Econometrics, Economics, Economics and Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business - Economics, Logistics Management, Capital Market, Insurance, Insurance and Risk Management, International Finance, International Business, International Trade, International Trade and Finance programs can be transferred vertically with an exam.
Specific Admission Requirements
Students are admitted to the department according to the TYT score type of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) conducted by the "Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM)". Other conditions are determined by OSYM in line with the relevant legislation of YÖK. In order for the students to be accepted to the program, they must have a high school diploma or its equivalent and must have received sufficient points from the relevant field of the exam administered by ÖSYM.
Qualification Awarded
This program is subject to 120 ECTS credits and 2-year associate degree system in the field of Banking and Insurance. When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are provided, an Associate Degree is obtained.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation
To complete the current program with a GPA of at least 2.00, provided that they take all the courses required for graduation within the legal period and be successful in these courses, and to do an internship for a total of 30 working days.
Access to Further Studies
Graduates have the right to transfer to the 3rd year of Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty, without an exam. In addition, if they are successful in the DGS exam, they have the opportunity to continue their undergraduate program in formal education.
Internship
Summer Internship is done in 30 working days. Banks, insurance companies, accounting companies, finance departments of companies.
Applied Course
It ensures the development of lifelong education in the field of vocational education and makes the practices in the profession done in accordance with the regulations and projects.
Work Placement
Students of the Finance-Banking and Insurance department are doing their internship at workplaces engaged in banking and insurance activities in the public and private sectors.
