Course Goal / Objective
To understand the importance of types, sources and properties of solid wastes for solid waste management and on-site handling,storage and processing, collection, transfer and transport, the obtained information on processing techniques and ultimate disposal (landfilling, composting, combustion and pyrolysis) systems.

In this course are informations on types, sources and properties of solid wastes and engineered systems for solid waste management.
