Course Goal / Objective
Application of biochemical analysis methods, evaluation and interpretation of experimental results with theoretical knowledge.
Course Content
Laboratory rules and introduction of laboratory equipments, Carbohydrates and their specific reactions, Glucose determination in blood, The properties of amino acids and their reactions, Analysis of amino acids with TLC, Analysis of amino acids with titration (formol titration), Titration curves of amino acids:isoelectric point determination, General reactions of proteins, Determination of protein in serum, Determination of amylase activity in saliva, Determination of alkaline phosphatase activity in serum, General reactions of lipids, Determination of serum cholesterol.d
