Course Goal / Objective

The characterization and understanding of the crystal and solid properties.

Course Content

Solids properties, structure, crystal symmetry, defects, bonding in solids, X-ray diffraction, neutron and electron diffraction and properties, electrical properties of crystals, superconductivity, magnetic and optical properties of crystals.
