Course Goal / Objective

To gain basic information about general characteristics of living organisms, cell structure, plant and animal cells, tissues and systems.

Course Content

In this lecture, the study areas of biology sciences and common characteristics of living organisms are described. Cell and cell structure, procaryotic and eucaryotic cells, cell organelles and their functions, cell division, plant tissues and their functions, respiration and photosynthesis, structure of animal, animal tissues, organ systems, classification of animals are explained with theoretical lectures and laboratory practice.
