Course Goal / Objective
To provide students with opportunities to compile and use the knowledge of previous courses before the graduation by asking them to prepare a comprehensive mining engineering study.
Course Content
Economical evaluation of any deposit/ Mining method selection/ Mine layout determination and production scheduling/ Determination of optimum capacity and production period/ number of stope determination/ Designating of optimum shaft location and first cut point of open pit/ Determination of layer interval/ Shaft and drift dimensioning and equipment election/ Dragline selection in surface mining.
