Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce the basic anatomical structure of plants on the basis of cell, tissue and organ, and to determine the basic differences between plant groups.
Course Content
Classification of cells, organism, ontogenesis and endosymbiosis theories, Cell anatomy, cell wall, primer and secondary walls, cell wall thickenings, passage types, intercellular spaces, cytological features of meristems, their origins and their presence in plants, cambium and periscal tissues in secondary thickening Structure and functions of epidermis cells, functions of stomata in shape, structure and plants, trichomes (hair without secretory feathers and secretory features), structure and functions of lentis, basic tissues Structure of parenchyma system and its functions, Classification of basic parenchyma cells according to their functions, Mechanical system (supportive tissues), Absorption system (formation and tissues working in absorption); Anatomical structure and properties of root, stem, leaf, flower, fruit and seeds.
