Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to comprehend all stages of the design process from idea to product in exhibition design, Exhibition design process, understanding the target audience and audience profiles, exhibition product types, materials and production methods, ceramic design applications for exhibition design, the relationship between exhibition design and art object identity, technological exhibition products. .
Course Content
To provide students with an overview of the history of exhibition methods from the 17th century to the present. 20th century and then, the effects of Modernism and Post-modernism on the exhibition space and the evolution of the exhibition space will be examined with examples from today's fairs and biennials. In the light of the above issues, the approach to the space, the development of the exhibition concept and the placement of the work/object to be exhibited in the exhibition space will be discussed. In order to support this work, students will be asked to produce and project their own exhibitions individually or in groups of 3-4 people.
