Course Goal / Objective

To examine JavaScript, one of the client-side scripting languages, in detail. Other topics are the use of DOM, JavaScript security, regular expressions, form development, data validity, and the use of JavaScript libraries.

Introduction to Javascript, Installation of Test and Development Environments. Variables, Constants and Operators. Decision Control Structures. Loop Control Structures. Series. Regular Expressions. Functions. Object Oriented Programming and Javascript Objects. Document Object Model (DOM). Events. Browser Object Model (BOM). Error Checking and Timers. Forms and Form Elements. Cookies and Sessions
