Course Goal / Objective
Evaluate the performance of gas-fluid power cycles where the working fluid remains in the gas phase throughout the cycle.
Course Content
Reciprocating engines, closed and open gas fluid power cycles, Otto, Diesel, Stirling and Ericsson cycles, Brayton cycle, Reactive cycles, second law analysis in gas fluid power cycles
