Course Goal / Objective
To teach the concept of sustainable production. Disposal of waste, prevention of waste generation concepts to teach. To teach documents about sustainability in textile.
Course Content
Life Cycle Analysis and Sustainability. Sustainability specifications: Reduction-reuse-recycling-renewability. Waste Formation: Waste generation during production and use. Recycling of fiber-yarn-fabric waste in textile Waste water and waste heat recovery in textile. Recycling of plastic waste. Certificate of Sustainable Textile. Related Standards. Sustainable and clean production. Environmentally friendly productions. Overview of sustainable and sustainable enterprises in textile and apparel and recommendations for the future
