Course Goal / Objective
It is to give the student the process of interpretation of the Qur'an from the beginning to the present and the method of the emerging discipline of tafsir by highlighting the main points.
Course Content
The revelation of the Qur'an and its meeting with the five brought about both its understanding and application. In this course, the historical journey of this subject is covered. Hz. The first activities of the Prophet, Companions and Tabi'in generations in this field, the scientific efforts for this cause in the times after them, the attempts to interpret the Qur'an in the Umayyad, Abbasid, Ottoman and contemporary periods are explained in detail. By the way, the terms and methods necessary to understand the Qur'an are also included in the content of the course.
