Course Goal / Objective

To teach the parameters used in the determination of harvest time of table, raisin, wine and juice grape varieties and harvesting, measurements related with physical and chemical properties and analysis methods of the data.

Course Content

The parameters used in the determination of harvest time of table, raisin, wine and juice grape varieties and harvesting, basic variables considered in the viticulture studies. Number of samples and sampling,observations for phenological properties, measurements related with physical (size, length, width, shape, volume, growth, etc.) properties and measurements related with chemical (sugar, acid, phenological compounds, vitamins, and minerals, etc.) properties, analysis of the data, preparation and presentation of the results for publication
