Course Goal / Objective
Comprehends the basic principles of 2nd generation (lignocellulosic) bioethanol production from field crops.
Course Content
Advantages of 2nd generation bioethanol production in terms of economic and environmental impact, current pretreatment and hydrolysis methods used in 2nd generation bioethanol production, plant properties and cultivation techniques of field crops used in 2nd generation (lignocellulosic) bioethanol production will be discussed.
