Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts and theories about morality and ethics, to introduce the teaching profession with its social, cultural, moral and ethical aspects, to teach ethical principles in the education, training, learning and evaluation process of the right to education and learning, with education stakeholders (employers/managers, colleagues, discussing ethical principles in relations with parents, professional organizations and society, showing moral/ethical responsibilities of education/school administrators, parents and children, teaching unethical behaviors in business and professional life, unethical behaviors in school and education, ethical dilemmas, problems and solutions.

This course; The concept of morality and ethics and the relationship between these two concepts, Basic concepts and theories about morality and ethics, Personal and professional values ​​and ethical awareness, Professional ethics and ethics, Teaching profession in moral and ethical terms, Professional identity and ethics, In the teaching profession Ethical principles and codes, Establishing an ethical culture at school, Ethical dilemmas in the teaching profession, unethical behaviors and solutions ways, Ethical dilemmas in the teaching profession, unethical behaviors and solutions, Ethics in public administration in Turkey regulations, legal regulations on ethics made by the ministry of national education, ethical leadership, moral and ethical education at school; includes topics.
