Course Goal / Objective

The basic concepts of education and their relationship with teaching Physical Education. The aim of physical education and teaching physical education, methods, techniques and materials used in this area. Studying related curriculums (aims, acquisition, topics, Unites, activity etc.) Studying and assessing examples of Course, Teachers and students guide books.

Comparative analysis of the development processes of physical education and sport in the world and in Turkey.

LO06 He learns the culture of sports in Asia (Chinese, Indian, Iranian). Eti learns, explains and interprets sports culture in Hittite and Urartian civilizations.
LO07 Greeks also learn about sports culture. Learns, analyzes, interprets, and explains the ancient Olympics.
LO08 Learns the modern Olympics, learns, analyzes and comments on the firsts and the greatest in the Olympics.

LO10 Learns Sports Culture (Wrestling) in Turks. Turks also learn, explain, interpret and analyze the sport of hunting.
LO11 Learns, analyzes, interprets and explains other sports performed by Turks (Çevgan, Beyge, baton game, oiled pole, pumpkin, etc.).
LO12 To be able to establish a relationship between disciplines in physical education and sports, to follow the developments in sports sciences, to understand, to interpret, to analyze.
LO13 Comprehend the basic concepts of physical education and sports, explain, analyze and interpret the fields of employment related to sports sciences.
