Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide basic knowledge about healthy living and physical fitness and to teach the positive effects of exercise on the body. While learning different types of exercise and their effects on health, students discover how to plan exercise programs with the FITT principle and how to adapt them to the needs of individuals. It also aims to create programs for physical components such as cardiovascular health, muscle strength, flexibility, balance, understanding the role of exercise in conditions such as obesity and chronic diseases, learning important factors such as nutrition and fluid consumption during exercise. Skills to monitor and evaluate exercise programs using technology are also gained.
