Course Goal / Objective

to know true nature and limits of İslamic history and historiography and to recognize pre-Islamic (Jahilyya) period

Course Content

conception of history, the place of Islamic history in general history, its limits, emergence of Islamic historiography, its stages, pre-Islamic (Jahilyya) period
