Course Goal / Objective
It is the application of basic hydrotherapy and balneotherapy methods, tissue protection principles, patient ambulation and appropriate therapy approaches after orthopaedic injuries and orthopaedic surgery under the supervision of a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician or physiotherapist.
Course Content
Introduction to hydrotherapy, hydrotherapy hazards and complications, in-water equipment, water physics, physiological effects of entering water, WP, hubbard tank, balneotherapy, immersion baths, different aquatic methods are explained.
