Course Goal / Objective
To learn the fertilizers, basic concepts of the fertilization, realtionships between soil fertility and fertilizers, role of fertilization in plant nutrition, fertilization economy and importance of fertilization in terms of environmental quality
Course Content
The course covers all the fertilizer and fertilization materials; discusses the organic and inorganic fertilizers, teaches the application ways and times of the fertilizers, discusses the relationship between plant nutrition/fertilization and environmental quality especially for soil and water pollution. In addition, visual, physical and chemical analysis of the fertilizers is defined in the laboratory, greenhouse and field.
