Course Goal / Objective

The aim is to examine and teach the fundamental concepts of crime theory within a certain system and to provide students with the ability to conduct case studies.

Course Content

In the Criminal Law (General Provisions) course, the concepts of offense and punishment, the structure of offense, its typicality, material and moral elements are examined. After this, the illegality and culpability elements of the offense are examined. Possible error situations are examined in terms of the elements in question. Additionally, the structure and elements of attempt and voluntary abandonment are discussed. Also, the topics of the neglect offences, complicity, and the consolidation of offences are included in the scope of this course.
