Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to provide students with basic skills such as knowing the scientific research methods discussed in architecture, designing a research design in Architectural research, selecting a method suitable for the research question, and applying the sub-techniques of the method.

Course Content

The course includes; Research Methodology in Architecture, The Method of Logical Argumentation, The Method Based on Historical–Interpretative or Interpretative Research, Experimental Research The Method of Quantitative and Statistical Research, Modeling and Simulative Research , Qualitative Research, A Special Variation of Qualitative Research in Architecture (POE), Case Studies, Action Research Method: Interventional Research, Heuristic and Forecasting Methods.M Mixed Methods and the the sub-techniques of these methods.
