Course Goal / Objective
To enable students to recognize the fundamental concepts and distinctions in traditional and contemporary language studies, analyze structural components such as phonetics, morphology, and syntax, and effectively apply these analyses in foreign language teaching processes.
Course Content
The origin and historical development of language; differences between human language and other communication systems; definition of fundamental concepts in phonetics, phonology, morphology, and syntax, and the analysis of their impact on language teaching.
