Course Goal / Objective

To enable students to look critically at any text they read and to analyze and write critically on the text.

Course Content

Introducing the concept of Critical Thinking; using reading strategies on texts; identifying arguments in texts; making inferences based on the clues given in the text; analyzing texts from a critical point of view; writing paragraphs and/or essays in a critical framework.

There is no prerequisite for this course.
