Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to synthesize the examples and land analysis (climate, road, topography etc.) related to the project subject, to evaluate the near and far environment (urban perspective) and spot studies; to discuss numerous solution alternatives with models and to develop the ideal proposal, to present it in 2 and 3 dimensions and to be ready to take on the next project as a result, with criteria such as spatial organization, functional fluidity, mass scenario and function relationship, structural solutions, material use, façade analysis, green architecture, compliance with standards and regulations, building identity etc.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of a project topic that will develop the skill of designing artificial environments by using natural environmental conditions as data for design problems in a multi-faceted way, addressing architectural thought together with structure, construction, and detail, experiencing design processes, and incorporating technical data into design processes.
