Course Goal / Objective

The course aims to teach students urban planning approaches and city components (zoning practices, transportation, density, residential areas, work areas, recreation and service areas, urban image points and multi-functionality, etc.) by addressing urban design and urbanism project proposals at different scales and scopes.

Course Content

The content of the course includes zoning practices, land analysis (physical determinations, surveys), Lynch analysis, SWOT analysis, urban standards, planning according to population density, and project development.
