Course Goal / Objective
Gains fundamental knowledge about architectural acoustics, acquires the necessary knowledge about noise control and volume acoustics, knows noise control methods, defines acoustic material properties, gains basic skills in volume acoustics design.
Course Content
In this course, basic information about basic components of sound, definitions and terms related to acoustics, birth and spread of sound, basic principles in noise and control, national and international regulations and standards for noise control, room acoustics design criteria and acoustic defects will be given.
