Course Goal / Objective
The goals of this course are to teach: environmental effects of some agricultural mechanization activities such as soil tillage, fertilizing, spraying, harvesting and post harvesting activities, and agricultural wastes.it will be given some environmental friendly agricultural mechanization practices
Course Content
Agricultural systems: energy cycle hydraulic cycle, food cycle and modern farming system and environment, Goal of soil tillage and soil tillage systems, long -term effects of soil tillage on soil fauna, ,water pollution and irrigation systems,sowing and planting activities, direct sowing technique , single traffic sowing methods, pesticide application technologies drift and drift reduction systems, fertilizing technique, effects of fertilizer on human life an environment, friendly fertilizer spreading technologies , variable rate pesticide application and fertilizer application, harvesting and threshing equipment, innovations in harvesting and threshing equipment technologies in terms of environment protection, animal buildings, environmental control in animal buildings, animal waste management technologies
